We provide our MN Permit to Carry certification class coupled with practical training to stay out of a problem; practices to get out of one, armed or not.

- Safe handling/operation of a modern firearm
- The 5 stages of threat escalation and actions to take for avoiding problems
- Managing the Body Alarm Response (BAR) during a survival situation.
- Legal considerations around reasonable and lethal force law
- The fundamentals of defensive and dynamic shooting from arms distance to 15 feet
- Decision making in a high-stress environment
- The aftermath of an incident, what to do and what to expect when EMS/LEO arrive
- Defending your home - legal considerations and suggested practices for defending you and your loved ones
- Considerations for choosing a handgun, gear, etc.
- Minnesota Permit to Carry course certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
What Should I Bring?
(Classroom - 3 hours)
- A teachable, coachable mindset and a positive attitude.
- Note-taking material/device.
- Snacks and/or beverage as a fridge is available for use on-site.
(LIVE range - 1 hour)
- Modern handgun 380 - 45 caliber (you may rent a firearm for $20 which includes ammo for the class)
- 2 working magazines
- 50 rounds of ammunition (no ammunition for sale on-site)
- Ear and Eye protection (FREE eye protection is available)
- Seasonally appropriate clothing suited to dynamic activity (no sandals/shorts)
